Identify features on the map

If you want to know about a feature on the map, you can get more information about it.

To select/identify a feature

1. In the Toolbar, click the Select By Point , 'Select by Box' , or 'Select by Shape' tool. The button changes to a pressed appearance.
2. Click on or draw a box/shape through  the feature(s) you want to select/identify. The feture(s) will be selected with a light blue color.   After a few moments, an entry for the feature(s) should appear in the Tabular Results section of the Console. 
3. By default all features are selected and zoomed to.
